Appeals have now been submitted to the Scottish Government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division (DPEA) following decisions by Angus Council, Aberdeenshire Council and the Highland Council to refuse consent for the proposed Emmock, Carnaig, Hurlie and Fanellan 400kV substations.

We are inviting local residents, community groups and businesses in Dunoon to attend an information and ‘Meet the Buyer’ drop-in event on 15 April ahead of the start of construction of the Dunoon Overhead Line Rebuild Project.

Marine survey work to assess potential landfall for proposed Shetland 2 HVDC Link
