Greens 400kV Substation community legacy event

Evening session: 7pm to 9pm

Help shape a positive legacy for the local area

As part of the Greens 400kV Substation project, SSEN Transmission and its partners are committed to creating lasting benefits for communities in and around the Green’s substation.

We are inviting community representatives to join us for a conversation about local priorities, opportunities and ambitions. We want to listen to your views, understand local needs, and explore how we can work together to deliver meaningful benefits for the area.

A Community Benefit Fund will be available to support local projects and initiatives. In addition, our contractors may be able to provide support through:

• Employee volunteering

• Skills and training opportunities

• Donations of materials and equipment

• Support for local businesses and community groups

Who should attend?

We welcome representatives from:

• Community councils

• Sports clubs

• Charities and voluntary organisations

• Community groups

• Local businesses

• Youth organisations

• Cultural and heritage groups

• Any organisation working to support the local community

Whether you want to learn about the opportunities or simply want to share what matters most to your community, we would love to hear from you.

Come along, share your ideas, and help shape a positive legacy for future generations.
