SSEN Transmission is proud to be sponsoring the Hebridean Celtic Festival (HebCelt) for a third consecutive year, continuing its commitment to communities across the north of Scotland by sponsoring one of the country's most celebrated cultural events.

Taking place in Stornoway with events also planned across Lewis and Harris, HebCelt attracts thousands of visitors from across the UK and beyond, showcasing the very best of traditional and contemporary Celtic music while delivering significant benefits for the local economy and community.

As part of its sponsorship, SSEN Transmission will once again provide a dedicated phone charging station at the festival, allowing attendees to stay connected while enjoying the packed programme of live performances, events and activities.

Festival-goers are encouraged to visit the SSEN Transmission stand throughout the weekend to charge their phones, learn more about the company's work across the Highlands and Islands, and meet members of the team.

Catherine Maclean, SSEN Transmission’s Events and Sponsorship Manager said:

"We're thrilled to be supporting HebCelt for the third year running. The festival is a fantastic celebration of the culture, talent and communities that make the Outer Hebrides such a special place, and we're proud to play our part in its continued success.

"Through our Lewis Hub project, we're committed to creating a lasting positive legacy for communities across the Western Isles. Our partnership with HebCelt reflects that commitment, sponsoring an event that brings people together, attracts visitors from around the world and delivers benefits for the local economy.

"We'd encourage festival-goers to visit our stand to meet the team, find out more about our work in the islands and take advantage of our free phone charging station, helping them stay connected and capture every moment of the festival.

"We're looking forward to speaking with local people and visitors alike, and to being part of what promises to be another memorable weekend in Lewis and Harris."

The project forms part of the company's £29bn Pathway to 2030 programme of network upgrades across the north of Scotland, helping deliver energy security, support economic growth and enable Scotland's transition to a cleaner energy future.

Visitors can find the SSEN Transmission stand within the festival site during HebCelt and take advantage of the free phone charging facilities throughout the event.
