Had-Fab, a leading structural engineering and metal fabrication company based in Tranent, East Lothian, secured the largest contract award in its history to manufacture nearly 500 steel towers for the proposed Spittal - Loch Buidhe - Beauly 400kV overhead line project.

Had-Fab is one of the UK’s leading structural engineering and metal fabrication companies. The £100 million contract will support more than 250 jobs across Had-Fab's business operations. The company plans to galvanise the towers using supply chain companies in the UK, including Glasgow-based Scottish Galvanizers Ltd.​
