Painter Brothers, one of the UK’s leading specialists in structural steel fabrication, is developing a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at its existing Hereford site, with the new facility set to be the most advanced steel production factory in the UK.
The company, which is already producing bespoke steelwork for SSEN Transmission Pathway to 2030 projects, currently employs 90 local workersand has recently doubled its output to over 5,000 tonnes of processed tower components. Once the new facility is operational, annual output is expected to reach 15,000 tonnes per annum, generating employment opportunities and supporting a range of local suppliers.
