Netherton Hub Pre-Application Consultation: Longside Event

We are hosting a public event for our proposed Netherton Hub project, as part of the statutory pre-application consultation process ahead of submitting our planning application.

At this drop-in event we will present our plans for this site and invite you to put your questions to our project team.

The Netherton Hub is a strategic development proposed near Longside to the west of Peterhead, comprising two substations, two HVDC converter stations, an HVDC switching station and a warehouse and operations base.

Following this event, we will be seeking feedback from members of the public, statutory consultees and other key stakeholders regarding our proposals until Tuesday 9 April 2024. Submit your comments and feedback online at
