Abhainn Dubh Wind Farm Connection Public Consultation

We are pleased to be hosting a public consultation event on our proposals to provide connections for Abhainn Dubh Wind Farm.

This consultation is focused on SSEN Transmission’s alignment for the proposed new connection to the grid via single circuit 132kV wood pole trident OHL technology.

The consultation event will take place on:

Tuesday 24 June 2025, 3pm - 7pm at Victoria Diamond Jubilee Hall, Hermitage Street, Evanton, IV16 9YG

Our consultation event includes information regarding our alignment process, the planning process, environmental and engineering considerations. Maps which aim to give stakeholders and community members a better visual representation of the alignment will be available to view.

We’re therefore requesting views regarding the alignment for the Abhainn Dubh Wind Farm Connection and welcome feedback.
