Eastern Green Link 5 - Onshore, landfall and nearshore cable consultation event

We are holding a consultation event for the onshore and nearshore element of our proposed Eastern Green Link 5 (EGL5) project.

This major electricity transmission project connecting Aberdeenshire to Lincolnshire via a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) subsea cable is in the early stages of development, and the event will provide a high-level overview of the project, including onshore cable route options from the preferred landfall for the HVDC link on the Aberdeenshire coast, to our proposed connection point at Netherton Hub to the west of Peterhead and a refined nearshore survey corridor from our preferred landfall to 12 nautical miles

During this event you can meet the project team, view information on the onshore and nearshore cable routeing and cable landfall site selection, and provide us with any feedback that you may have.
