Fetteresso 132kV substation upgrade Pre-Application Consultation Feedback event

We are pleased to be hosting a second public Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) event for our proposed upgrades to Fetteresso 132kV substation.

Following our initial event in August 2025 and feedback period which closed on 25 September 2025, we are holding this event to present our proposed design for planning submission, following feedback received from the first PAC event and ongoing design developments.

We will also present our responses to feedback received as part of the statutory consultation, which is required for major and national planning applications.

We are proposing to upgrade the existing 132kV Fetteresso substation, located within Fetteresso Forest, to increase network security and resilience, address asset integrity requirements as well as accommodate future incoming connections.

There will be no requirement to extend the working platform. All new equipment will be located on the existing substation platform.

The project team will be available to discuss our proposals, answer questions and seek feedback on our plans.
