Glenmoriston Substation Access Track Upgrade - Final pre-application event

SSEN Transmission invite you to come along to our second pre-application consultation event regarding proposed improvement works to the access track leading to the Glenmoriston Substation site.

The proposed development involves upgrading the existing track from Torgyle to the Glenmoriston Substation, continuing along Inverwick Road until it rejoins the A887.

These upgrades are essential to support the delivery of a new grid transformer to the substation and will involve construction traffic in the area. Planned works include widening and realignment of the access track, replacement of two bridge structures, drainage improvements, and earthworks to manage gradients.

This second pre-application consultation event would typically focus on feedback from our first event, however, following the first event we did not receive any feedback regarding our proposals. We would like to take the opportunity to share our proposals with the local community and gather your comments. Your views are important to us and will help shape the final proposals.
