Final pre-application consultation: Netherton Hub 400kV Overhead Line Connection to New Deer and Peterhead - Tie-in Connection

We are holding our final consultation event for our proposed overhead line tie-in connection of the existing New Deer-Peterhead 400kV line into Netherton Hub. The tie-in project is required to connect the proposed 400kV AC substation within the Hub to the existing transmission network.

This event concludes the pre-application process for the consent application for the tie-in that will be submitted under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989.

The event will take place on Wednesday 10 September from 3pm-7pm at Longside Parish Church Hall in Longside AB42 4XN.

We invite all interested parties to attend our drop-in consultation event to discuss our plans with our project team, ask questions and share views.

Copies of the consultation material will be available for download via the ‘Documents’ tab on the project webpage prior to the event.

We are inviting feedback until 8 October 2025.
