Orkney Link Information Event

We are holding an information event, providing an update on the ongoing Orkney Link Project and share what’s next as construction continues.

We welcome anyone interested in learning more about the project, to hear about progress made so far, including key milestones achieved during the first year of construction, as well as plans for the next stages of delivery. The session will also provide an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions directly to the project team and their contractors.

The Orkney Link Project, which recently celebrated one year of construction, is a critical infrastructure development that will connect Orkney to the GB high-voltage electricity transmission network for the first time, unlocking the islands’ renewable energy potential and supporting Scotland’s transition to a clean energy future.
