Balliemeanoch Pumped Storage Hydro (PSH) connection - Overhead Line Routeing consultation event

We are pleased to be hosting a consultation event for a new electricity transmission connection to connect the proposed Balliemeanoch Pumped Storage Hydro (PSH) scheme to the existing transmission network at Creag Dhubh substation.

The connection is needed to allow electricity to be imported and exported between the proposed energy storage facility and the national grid, supporting Scotland’s transition to a secure, flexible and low-carbon energy system.
