Clash Gour & Ourack Windfarm Connections PAC1 Event

SSEN Transmission invites you to attend our public consultation event for two proposed electricity network projects in the Forres area:

• Clash Gour Windfarm Connection
• Ourack Windfarm Connection

These are separate projects, but consultation events for both projects will take place at the same venue on the same day.

We are carrying out the first of two Pre-Application Consultation (PAC1) events for each project and are seeking feedback from the local community and stakeholders before progressing our plans.

The Clash Gour consultation will focus on proposals for:

• A new electricity substation required to connect the proposed Clash Gour Wind Farm to the transmission network.
• Associated overhead line works required to link the new substation into the existing electricity network.

The Ourack consultation will focus on our route options for connecting
the proposed Ourack Wind Farm to the transmission network.

At the event we will present both overhead line and underground cable route options.

Our current preferred route is a wholly underground cable connection and we are particularly interested in hearing your views on this proposal and the route options under consideration.

The project team will be available to explain the proposals, answer questions and discuss how feedback will help inform the development of the projects.
