SSEN Transmission has today published a report on the public consultation it undertook in March and April 2024 on the proposed Kintore to Tealing 400kV overhead line project. This ‘Report on Consultation’ confirms the overhead line routes that are now being taken forward to the next stage of development and includes community and landowner proposals around Careston, Drumoak and Echt.

Aberdeen Men’s Shed welcomes timber donation for school nursery project

Ofgem has today confirmed its final approval on the costs associated with delivery of Eastern Green Link 2 (EGL2), enabling construction to start on the 525kV 2GW subsea connection between Peterhead in the north-east of Scotland and Drax on the east coast of England.
