Lochluichart and Corriemoillie
As we continue the transition to net zero emissions, the continued connection of renewable generation is particularly important. This MSIP application presents the needs case, optioneering and costs for the connection of the Lochluichart Extension II Windfarm development to the greater transmission network. The connection of Lochluichart Extension II Windfarm will provide further renewable generation to the network. This is in line with the progress towards the UK and Scottish Government’s net zero targets by 2050 and 2045 respectively. By connecting this generator, we will contribute to meeting the demand for clean electricity to power homes in the north of Scotland.
