    As a result of disruption from Storm Amy we have rescheduled the pre-application consultation event taking place at Voe Public Hall to present the proposed routing options for circuits between the existing Kergord Substation and the proposed Northern Substation Hub. Information will be available on route options, technology options and design considerations alongside the next steps in the planning process.

This advancement is crucial for achieving our business goals and supporting our transmission network’s ambition to contribute over 15% to the UK’s total carbon reduction targets, aiming for net-zero by 2050. As we near the final year of our current price control period, we are beginning to see the value and benefits of our investments over the past 3.5 years. Most of our projects are now underway, giving us confidence that we will fully deliver on our original 5-year execution plan, along with the additional re- opener investments we have undertaken.
