SSEN Transmission is responsible for the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland.

We are not an energy supplier and as such we do not manage domestic electricity supply or local distribution networks and cannot assist with issues such as:

  • Supply to your home
  • Metering
  • Electric vehicle charging
  • Voltage complaints (e.g., dim lighting)
  • Bills
  • Payments
  • Tariffs
  • Meters

Please note: SSE Plc sold its domestic supply business to OVO Energy in January 2020.
