Loch Buidhe Area (Carnaig) 400kV Substation: Bonar Bridge Event

We are pleased to be hosting a pre-application consultation event on our proposed Loch Buidhe area (Carnaig) 400kV Substation, following the initial consultation event in early 2023.  

We are holding this face to face drop-in event to present our updated proposals for the substation which have been informed by stakeholder feedback.  

During the event, we’ll also be sharing our refined routes for the Spittal to Loch Buidhe to Beauly 400kV overhead line which the new proposed substation will connect into. We invite all interested parties to attend, meet the team, and share your views.

If you are unable to attend the public event all the material that will be on display will be available to be downloaded from the project documents section of the project webpage here from 26 February 2024.
