We are pleased to be hosting a drop-in session at New Deer for the proposed Beauly – Blackhillock – New Deer – Peterhead 400kV Overhead Line Connection project. This is an additional engagement event for those who were unable to attend the event in New Deer last week, Tuesday 04 March 2025, due to the earlier timings.
As with the events which took place between from 17 February - 06 March, at the drop-in session we will be sharing our proposed alignment for the overhead line. This series of public events that we have hosted across the project route conclude the Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) process. Interested parties can attend this drop-in session to discuss the plans and share final thoughts ahead of the consent application later in 2025. All materials associated with our engagement events are also available to view on our documents section of the project webpage.
The event will be held on:
Date: 19 March 2025
Time: 6pm-8pm
Venue: New Deer Public Hall, Fordyce Terrace, New Deer, Aberdeenshire, AB53 6WE
The project team will be at the event, and we invite and welcome members of the public to attend and hear more about the project. Feedback can be provided via forms available at the event, the online form on our project webpage or via email to the project inbox. The comments period will be open until Friday 21 March 2025.
Any comments made to us as the Applicant are not representations to Scottish Ministers as the decision makers. There will be opportunity to make formal representations to Scottish Ministers via the Energy Consents Unit following the submission of the section 37 application.
