Fanellan 400kV Substation and Converter Station: Beauly Event

We are pleased to be hosting a pre-application consultation event on our proposed Fanellan 400kV Substation and Converter Station (New Beauly Area), following the initial consultation event last Spring.  

We are holding this face-to-face drop-in event to present our updated proposals for the substation and converter station which have been informed by stakeholder feedback.  

During the event, we’ll also be sharing our refined routes for the Beauly – Blackhillock – New Deer – Peterhead 400kV overhead line and the Spittal – Loch Buidhe – Beauly 400kV overhead line which will connect into the new proposed substation. We’ll also be sharing information regarding the proposed Western Isles connection into the proposed new site.  

We invite all interested parties to attend, meet the team, and share your views.

If you are unable to attend the public event all the material that will be on display will be available to be downloaded from the project documents section of the project webpage here from 12 March 2024.
