Fanellan 400kV Substation and Converter Station Events

We are pleased to be hosting a second round of public Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) events on our proposed Fanellan 400kV substation and converter station, following our initial event in March 2024 and feedback period which closed on 9 May 2024. 

We are holding this event to present our proposed design for planning submission, following feedback received from the first PAC events and ongoing design developments. We will also present our responses to feedback received as part of the statutory consultation, which is required for major and national planning applications.  

During our face-to-face drop-in events you will be able to view our proposals and submit questions and comments to the project team. You can also submit comments and feedback by emailing or writing to your Community Liaison Manager.

Venue: Kiltarlity Village Hall, Beauly IV4 7HH

During the event we will also be sharing potential alignments for the overhead line connections and the Western Isles on land cable connection.

If you are unable to attend the public event all the material that will be on display will be available to be downloaded here from Wednesday 5 June.
